Three Books, Three different Feelings

Review

Thought I would post it here. I read three different books in last two weeks, and each one brought a totally different feeling.

Starting with the fevorite:

Primal Hunter: I was really giving it a second thought in the first quarter of the book, but then you people spoke and I stuck with me, and what an ride. Already on book 2.

What I loved - the crafting.

What I didn't like - the class description of other classes.

Soulhome: Very interesting concept. It started strong. Slogged a little. But picked up to end up great. Currently taking a break from book 2.

The concept is the key here. People called it a cultivation, but I defer my opinion here. It's more of cultivation inspired, but not cultivation.

What I loved - the concept of building one's home inside soul. The OP protag.

What I didn't like - too much character banter, and slow progression.

Apocalypse Eater: I wasn't going to give it a try, but the concept caught me. Glad I did give it a try.

Using corruption as fuel isn't a really new concept, but the way world is revealed is a complete new take on apocalypse genre. If anything else is there like this, tell me in comments. Pacing was on the spot in this book.

What I loved - The world, grit, and characters. OP protag.

What I didn't like - It can go deep into the weeds, and describe the world in too detail. And the book is short. And book 2 is not available.

I'm reading Primal Hunter 2 now, and it's just getting more interesting. A good thing for choosing a long series, but I heard the new books are coming slow, so the end is coming in a few weeks.
