Is Cigna or Aetna easier to get a breast reduction covered? And do you think I would even get covered by either?
I have been wanting a breast reduction since I was 15. I’m 24 now and want to get it done asap.
So right now I have Cigna but in January the insurance is switching to Aetna. So now I’m wondering if I should get it this year trying with Cigna or start the process in 2027 with Aetna.
I am 5’4, 120lbs, with about 28G boobs. I am athletic with low body fat so it’s pretty much all breast tissue.
I haven’t gone to a chiropractor, acupuncturist, or anything like that because that hasn’t really been something I could splurge on.
I get a lot of neck, shoulder, and back pain. I get shoulder grooving and irritation. In the summer or sometimes when I’m working out intensely, I get rashes on the under boob/torso area. I can’t even wear normal bras, I only wear sports bras.
Do you think either would cover me? And do you have any idea which would be better?
