Diagnosed two weeks ago

Had a lower MRI and some movement tests
Was initially told all bloods and MRI is ok but have a bed on ward to do further tests
Then another consultant came by and gave me a one minute chat about how it’s not MS and my leg issue will just go away and that I have FND because it says on my last chat with a doc my dad has it. Told to google it. Is this a legit way of diagnosing someone? Never felt so small and dismissed
I have argued that one consultant wanted to do nerve conduction tests and I want a second opinion
