OST preference between STS1 and 2

Just wondering if people who have played both games have a strong preference for one soundtrack over the other. Both are excellent but there is something about the first game's soundtrack that really was special. Part of why I loved getting further in the game in 1 was hearing either of the Act 2 songs and while the soundtrack for STS2 is fantastic and well produced it doesn't draw me in like the first game. Wondering if this is just my preference or what everyone thinks.
