Rao Bahadur - బురదలో మొలిచిన తామర - Velli choodandi!
Buradha - Rest of TFI, and the Telugu Audience
Tamara - This movie
If it wasn't clear, picha picha ga nachindi. Watched it this evening.
Brain lo edo oka part ni tingle chestu indindi movie anta. Lag antaru anta mama industry lo deenine.
Movie felt real. It felt like this person could and do exist. Love the use of Telugu. Ade arudhu ayyipothundi ante vichitram ga undi.
The poems and "songs" felt refreshing. Social commentary is next level. Lots of grey shades in so many people.
Movie felt complete. Proper ending alochinchi, raasi, execute chesaru. Felt like a meal that ended with Perugu.
Characters stayed with me even as I rode home and I keep going back to so many sequences that played out.
Side note 1: I freaking want to call out the woman who sat next to me. She freaking had the phone active all the time. Instagram. WhatsApp. etc. I had to use my palm to block that disturbance. She came along with 2 or 3 people.
I kept quite during the 1st half and wanted to let it be known to her in the interval. As the break began, her friend who sat on the other side called her out and was visibly annoyed. They didn't come back for the 2nd half.
Side note 2: Waiting for half the movie-goers in Hyderabad to go watch The Odyssey in a few days and rave about it. I wonder where the miraculously get back a better brain and attention snap when it comes to a Nolan's film.
Side note 3: I may not agree with Venkatesh Maha on a several things, but that dude has incredible skills when it comes to social commentary.
