Looking for advanced lanyard crafts!

One of my campers is amazing at making those plastic lanyard keychains (i've heard them called boondoggles?), and I've run out of patterns to teach him! We've mastered 3 and 4 color twists, and I'd love any ideas or examples to help challenge him further. Thanks!! :)
