Ecovacs X12 Omni arrived brand new without a critical sealing washer — and their "solution" is to make ME ship it back

Just unboxed my brand new X12 Omni and found it's missing the sealing washer under the clean water tank. This isn't a cosmetic issue — it's a part that prevents leaks, and it should absolutely be there on a new unit straight from the factory.

I contacted Ecovacs support expecting them to just mail me the missing washer (it's a tiny, cheap part). Instead, they're insisting I package up the entire unit and ship it back to them, wait for them to receive it, and then wait again for them to send a replacement. So because of THEIR quality control miss, I'm the one losing the robot for however long shipping and processing takes — not to mention the hassle of repackaging a full-size docking station.

For a company charging premium prices for their "flagship" model, this is a pretty rough first impression. Missing hardware on a brand new unit is a QC failure. Refusing to just send the part and instead pushing the burden of a full return onto the customer is a customer service failure.

Has anyone else run into missing parts with their X12 Omni? Curious if this is a one-off or a pattern.
