What happens to your raw footage after a video goes live?

I’ve been thinking about how much footage basically becomes dead storage after a video is published. Months later I’ll remember that somewhere I had a good explanation, reaction, B-roll shot, or alternate take that could work for a new video. But finding the exact moment means going back through old project folders and scrubbing footage, and half the time it feels easier to just shoot something again.

For people who’ve built up a decent archive: do you actually reuse old raw footage?
