I saw something really odd when I closed my eyes.

This was years ago, bare with me if some of the details are missing.

I was in my room and listening to music, there was this like couch in my room that is right in front of my door that i was sitting on. I feel like now is a good time to say: my door never shut all the way. It was hard to get it closed, and when it did close it was a lot of tugging and turning the knob to open it again, so I always had it cracked open. Anyways, I was texting my friends or something when I looked ahead and closed my eyes, i dont remember why but I think it was because my eyes were dry or something (like I started manually blinking). When I looked ahead, I saw the most vivid drawing/photo/vision of a creature standing at my door and holding it.

It was really fleshy, didn’t have a nose. Mouth was open and it had a few teeth that were a good distance apart. Its skin was bright in the middle like it was taken with a camera that had flash on, I think it had black hair?? I remember the eyes were small and black with white pupils.

I don’t really have an explanation for this, I wasn’t recently exposed to any horror content and what I saw didn’t look familiar. I remember I got genuinely scared from it, like I jumped back and stared at my door. It wasnt like when I closed my eyes I could see through my eyelids or something, it was like I imagined a cutout of that thing and my door. I think of a lot of scary stuff and random creatures, but I’ve never imagined that one before and I can still remember how it looks (unlike other things I imagine). I’ve moved into a new house and I’ve never imagined it again.

What could it have been?? I can’t tell if it was my imagination or something genuinely paranormal, I’ve always been somewhat interested in trying to communicate with ghosts but I’ve never done so and sure as hell don’t wanna communicate with that one 💔
