Help with game performance (Xbox Ally X)

I have the Ally X hooked up to the XG Mobile 5070ti egpu. Most games perform fine, but I can’t seem to make Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth run well no matter what I change. I have tried setting the resolution to 4K. I’ve tried setting it to 1440p. I’ve even tried setting it to 1080p. I tried BRR, which my TV supports. I’ve also tried fixed 60, and it still drops below even 60 FBS, even when set to 1080p, and all low settings. So something is going wrong between the CPU and the EGPU. Can anyone help me solve this issue? It runs fine on the LIX and portable mode. It just doesn’t run well. It’s very choppy and under 60 FPS when it’s hooked up to the 5070 TI. Thank you.
