Kidde alarm integration

What does Google integration do besides status update? I see "Voice Alerts on Assistant Speakers" but I can't even get that to work, seems like feature does nothing when alarm goes off.

Also Kidde has wifi alarms and wire-free interconnected alarms, both for some weird reason not both. And wifi alarms that are already connected to the same app and network don't have an ability to trigger each other. Am I missing something? Seems like an obvious feature to have. Is there a way to trigger all alarms though some automation?
