Why is dating so sexual now?

Every man I talk to on the apps starts talking inappropriately within a day or two of us talking. They ask invasive sexual questions, use sexual innuendos, talk about kinks and objectify me. Is it because we met on the internet and not irl? Why does that mean I can’t be afforded the same respect? I’m not a prude by any means but this is so jarring and uncomfortable. It makes me feel like I’m not good enough for anybody to want something real with me and that expecting romance is my fault. Am I being too uptight?
