Which characters do you think were written better or made more interesting in the show rather than their book counterparts?

The writing of majority of the characters in the show has been butchered or made straight up nonsensical, as we all know. But what characters have actually been made better/more interesting than their book counterparts?

I really like show!Gwayne and I’m glad they >!extended his life beyond his canon death by removing him from KL!<. I hope they keep him as the honourable knight.

He is also, in fact, hot.
