My avoidant ex had the MOST SHOCKING view on love

This is what my avoidant ex said to me during the times of huge turbulance between us, whenever she hurt me whether by discard or being cold and mean and it would affect me deeply, my mood and sleep and health, this is mostly her response. Look how dangerous love is, look how it is ruining you and your mental and physical health.

That is why avoidants prefer to detach, because to them they assume the worst, loving deeply, real love, if it goes wrong, it can ruin you in many ways. So they prefer to get the advantages of love only as it stays fun and feels nice, either fake it or try to prevent themselves from feeling it deeply, that is why it is always easy for them to jump from one person to another, they always have one leg out the door, ALWAYS. They love you more like a pet than a human, that is most love you can get out of them IF you get any. You can have love enough for many pets, and adopt and give away pets, that is how it is to them.
