False Friend Day

A false friend is a word that looks or sounds like a word from another language but means something completely different. Time to expose one from your conlang.

Share a word from your conlang that resembles a word from a language (can be a natlang or a conlang) but doesn't mean the same thing. Include:

- Your conlang's word, with IPA (required) and romanisation (optional), and what it actually means

- The natlang word it resembles, which language it's from, and what that word means in that language

Bonus activity: Create a new False friend out of other people's answers.
