Maddie's next movie project?

So this is in the realm of speculation but I think Maddie is starting to film a new movie project. Melissa mentioned last year that Maddie was due to film in New Orleans but it got postponed. Also she and Maddie spoke about another project after the Pretty lethal press tour. Based on a number of rabbit holes I have delved down, I believe the movie is "Girl", an independent project being directed by Destry Allyn Spielberg (daughter of Stephen, who Maddie worked with on West Side Story).

The film is a mystery murder story with an ensemble cast (along the lines of the Knives out movies in style). The story is set in New Orleans and was due to start filming there in October but is now starting production in Savannah, Georgia over July and August.

There has been no official announcement in Deadline or Variety but the rumored cast include Maddie, Luke Newton, Jason Issacs and Storm Reid. The movie is definitely shooting as there have been casting calls for extras and crew locally
