Versions? I am really confused??? (Plus a question about a glitch)

So my girlfriend is into this game. She's wanting to get back into it but got stuck on some Ratatouille world glitch and gave it up awhile back. So we went in Gamestop one day and they had the PS4/5 (don't remember) "Cozy" Edition. Then it was gone today when we went back in.
So I started looking online and there are SOOOO many editions listed on Steam that it confused me.

What can she get NOW? What's the best version to get her?

Is there any fix for that Ratatouille world glitch (I know at the time she said other people had commented about that world being broken)?

Thanks!
