Do you actually feel better when you try to cover up BO with fragrance, or does it just make it worse?
We’ve all had those days where you’re out running errands, realize your deodorant has completely failed, and get hit with that sudden wave of panic. I used to keep a travel-sized perfume in my bag for exactly this reason, but lately, I’ve noticed that spraying a strong floral or vanilla scent over top of actual underarm sweat doesn't actually hide anything. It just creates this weird, chaotic hybrid scent that somehow smells even more intense and obvious than the original body odor. Is it universally better to just accept the defeat and smell slightly sweaty until you can get home to a shower, or is there an actual trick to neutralizing the scent on the go without making it a weapon of mass destruction?
