If Argentina and France make the final again, it’s literally only happened ONCE before

💬Discussion

So if Argentina and France both make the final this year, we’re looking at a back-to-back rematch of 2022. That is insanely rare.

In the entire history of the World Cup, the exact same two teams have only played each other in consecutive finals one time.

It was Argentina and West Germany back in 1986 and 1990. Argentina won the first one 3-2, and Germany got revenge 1-0 in the next one. Teams have made back-to-back finals before (like Brazil), but always against different countries.

Do you guys think we're actually getting the rematch, or is someone else spoiling the party?
