I’m moving to uptown, what should I look out for?

i’m a very long time chicago resident, but i have mostly just lived in the humboldt park to logan square range before deciding to move to uptown to be closer to some community and closer to the montrose beach (and the bird sanctuary, i’m an avid birder)! i’m going to be a bit west, close to st bonafide.

i wanted to ask folks what they like and don’t like about the area, and learn some more native info and tips! i’m already a big long distant fan of some of the food (s/o to urban vegan and pick me up cafe), but am largely ignorant. most of my experience is just biking through the cemeteries or montrose and getting a bite to eat at the cafe.
