I upgraded for the first time in 6 yrs.. I'm worried.
Hello everyone. I'm new here.
I built my Ryzen 5 2600 paired with the GTX 1650, a cheap a320 motherboard, and an 8x2gb kit of RAM back in 2020. It just gave up on me 2 days ago.
Earlier today, I brought it to the shop to try and get it fixed but ultimately decided against it and upgraded altogether.
My new build:
CPU - RYZEN 5 5600X
MOBO - Gigabyte B550M-K
GPU - RX 9060XT xfx 16gb
SSD - 1tb M.2 T-FORCE
RAM - 16gb DDR 4 (from old unit)
PSU - MSI mag a650BN 80+ bronze (from old unit)
I was surprised with the price but I've been thinking about upgrading for a while.. I bought the CPU and motherboard combo because I want to try gaming in 1440p but now I'm worried that the 16gb of RAM from my old unit wont be enough for me to enjoy it..
Thoughts?
