Name Change problems

I just got my name change finalized through the SSA, but they couldn't change my gender marker without an amended birth certificate. I was born in Texas..... I guess I am just SoL for the foreseeable future? In happier news, the bathrooms at the SSA were electronically controlled and the guard opened the women's without me asking! Stay safe out there everyball!
