Can’t get Rush DT (RDT) on the field

For my dynasty, I like to have my bigger edges play as defensive tackles sometimes in obvious pass downs. So I would always start those edge players as RDT1 and RDT2 in my depth chart. But this year, I’ve noticed that for every nickel and dime package, the game doesn’t use your RDT1 or RDT2 in the depth chart. Instead they just use your DT1 and DT2. Am I doing something wrong? Or is this a known bug? I know I can go into formation adjustments and change it for dynasty, but for CUT and RTG it just seems like something that hurts the realism. You rarely see DTs in real life playing 100% of the snaps like they do in CFB 27
