Visit Japan Web - confusion with QR Codes expected or we're safe?

Hi everyone,

I'm travelling to Japan in 2 weeks. I'm going with another friend.

I've done my research on this topic and the advice was for both of us to register individually on Visit Japan Web, but also to put each other as the companion we're travelling with.

My question is, when we get there and we show the QR Code, should we each show our QR Code on our own accounts? Won't that generate any confusion as we might have 2 QR Codes?

I'm sorry if that was a stupid question, I just got confused in the last few days. Maybe the trip getting closer is getting to me 😵
