AIO-The pissing incident

Trying to figure out if I’m being unreasonable about something that happened while visiting family.

We were at my wife’s cousin’s house with our two kids. They have a nice backyard with a pool surrounded by artificial turf. Between the back porch and the pool is about a 4 foot wide strip of turf where people often set up folding chairs to relax. It’s a high traffic area where kids run around, leave pool toys, and people walk back and forth.

My wife had just gotten out of the pool and was standing on that strip of turf when our host came outside carrying a drink and started setting up a folding chair so she could sit and chat with us. I was still in the pool, looking toward my wife, when I noticed water running down her leg. At first I assumed it was just pool water, but it just kept flowing. Then I realized… it wasn’t pool water at all.

She was standing there pissing on the turf while casually talking to our host, right next to where people sit and enjoy drinks and snacks, where kids play, and where they set down their pool toys.

I was honestly in disbelief. It completely turned me me off, and I’m having a hard time getting past it. It just feels incredibly disrespectful. I know it’s outside, and pool water gets splashed everywhere, but the bathroom was literally just inside the house.

She has no idea I saw it, but she can definitely tell something is bothering me. I don’t know whether I should say something to her or if I’m overthinking this and should just let it go.
