Interview was an amazing show, but there were 2 things about the finale that didn't make sense to me. (Season ruining SPOILERS below)
Armand had directed the trial performance that was supposed to end with Louis' demise, it was him who got the crowd to say "banishment", and he was full aware that Lestat knew both of these facts, so why Armand comfortable with not only confronting Lestat with Louis, but with also rubbing their love for each other in his face? Also, when Louis offered Daniel the dark gift in presents day, wether Louis was being sincere or not, Daniel still turned the offer down. Daniel also came across as a cynical, nihilistic journalist who wasn't interested in any BS, and who also seemed incredibly unhappy with how his life turned out, so why is it the only time we see him happy in the entire show, aside from 50 year old flashbacks, is when he's a vampire? Sure he just sold a bunch of books and made a ton of money, but he didn't seem to be the type who would forget about his estranged daughters because he was more wealthy. He seemed to be really enjoying the dark gift, even though it was forced upon him. So, was it the book sales, the millions of dollars, or his new "diet"?
