Seeking advice: Getting a knee replacement at age 40 and the likelihood of a second surgery (Revision) later in life
"Hi everyone,
I’m currently 33 years old, and I already know that I will need a knee replacement in about 7 years. If I go ahead with the surgery when I'm 40 or 41, will I definitely need to have it done a second time by the time I reach my 60s?
Has anyone here undergone a second knee replacement (revision surgery)? If so, what was the process like for you? I’m really curious about the recovery, the challenges, and how it compares to the first one. I would truly appreciate hearing about your experiences."
