Christmas/thanksgiving

So upper management just told me something interesting. This year, they are scheduling everyone 6 days the week of Thanksgiving and the week of christmas. They are denying any request.to use pto on xmas or thanskgiving, ans that those days will be the only ones off that week. They did not say it was company wide. Any other store have management this deranged?
