How to stand out on a tox rotation as a med student at a program that I would ideally like to match at?
Hi all! I'm an MS4 applying EM this cycle. I'm currently in my first sub i and next month I start a tox rotation in a department that I'd ideally like to match into (location/proximity to family is an important consideration for me) I was unable to get a Sub I in the ED and the tox rotation is what they offered me. I'm wondering how I can best stand out and increase my chances of matching at this program?
During the rotation I won't have too much interaction with residents/faculty in the ED, however the tox faculty are also EM faculty and I will attend EM didactics during the rotation. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
