Hey everyone!

I’m a 17-year-old designer from Yerevan, and over the past few months, I’ve been working on a comprehensive passion project: a modern design code and wayfinding system for our capital.

My goal was to bridge Yerevan's rich historical heritage with a clean, progressive 21st-century aesthetic.

Here is a quick breakdown of the system:

**The Logo:** A minimalist, flat reinterpretation of the lion's crown from Yerevan's traditional emblem. It's built to scale across both digital media and physical infrastructure.

**District Color Coding:** Every administrative district gets a distinct color palette and custom geometric pattern to make urban navigation completely intuitive.

**Bilingual Address Signage:** Standardized street signs utilizing the new district colors.

**Urban Safety:** High-contrast construction site warning banners integrated with the city’s design code.

**Cultural Wayfinding:** Minimalist infographic markers for landmarks like Mother Armenia, Tamanyan Monument, and Sasuntsi David.

The overall palette reflects the warmth of our tuff stone, the Cascade, and the dynamic energy of the city. I’d love to hear your thoughts! Do you think a unified design code like this is something our municipality should officially look into?
