Teacher discount with payslip or email?!

I'm a teacher and would love the teacher discount at goodwill but my school doesn't have us wear teacher IDs....can I show the worker at goodwill my work email or a payslip?! I just signed up for target teacher verification and was able to use a payslip! Thanks!

PS how does the teacher discount work at Goodwill? Thanks!
