Resignation and things
Just wanted insight to see if anyone else has thought the same or has done so.
But has anyone resigned effective immediately when you were presented with something unbearably stupid? Or even having something happen?
Could be over being accused of something that you've never done.
Being written up for 1-5 minutes late.
Constantly being told off by a supervisor to improve on something when they haven't even taught you anything.
Being scheduled with the people who don't have a sense of urgency and drag constantly.
The list goes on.. I've been thinking about resigning from the place I'm currently at because of the ones I've mentioned above. By all means I'm not a perfect server. I make mega stupid mistakes sometimes myself, but holy hell is it eye twitching when my supervisor, or anyone in the crew makes a vague ass complaint and not elaborate in the SLIGHTEST on how to improve said issue.
I could communicate with another server on my shift on what to do better, but at this point what's the point. They don't even listen to me why would they listen to our supervisor.
Regrettably I've been giving my absolute best to try and improve not only myself but other things.
Oh did I forget to mention I was suggested for a 50 cent raise? You know what they gave me instead? 23 cents. THEY COULDN'T EVEN BOTHER TO BREAK EVEN AND MAKE IT 25
I know there's some that would argue, well that's better than nothing! At this point where I live, that is NOTHING. So atop all the things I ranted above. Should I stay a bit longer and hope for improvement? Or outright send in my two weeks and look for better..
