Dark tides power “creep”

Returning to the game after a while off thanks to the resynced hype, and was happy to find some new free content:

Now have a boss fight utterly barren of logic, where one touch from either of them will down you, they attack through each others combos, body block you into corners, and conveniently dodge every ability attack.

The game has 5 difficulty options, as well as new game+, there is no reason or need for this to be so punishing on normal difficulty.

And to the ‘git gud scrub’ crowd, the short answer is no. I’m in my 30s and I’m well past the ‘sweating out games’ portion of my life. I was looking forward to closing out this story but just don’t see it happening now, once again leaving a bad taste in my mouth that odyssey, origins, and Valhalla never dreamed of.
