Car suggestions

Hi all, looking to buy my first car this summer. I'm 22 and have my full license 2 years and 3 years named driver experience.

Is there any car you can think of that is fairly sporty yet reliable. I currently drive a vehicle that is too underpowered for daily driving. Budget is 10k.

Criteria I have in mind are Japanese, petrol, manual (preferably), 10-20 years old as I think anything newer will exceed my budget in this market.

Any suggestions?
