Would it be really shitty of me to turn up for my night shift and immediately ask to go home for Domestic leave?
It's too late to call now (shift starts at 9pm).
Found out last night my Dad is being assessed for cancer in 2 places - neither confirmed as of yet (awaiting biopsy results) but he's still in hospital and Doctors think it highly likely.
Barely slept all day from worrying and heat, but was gonna try and still work through it as it would keep me busy.
Then on top of that, literally just found out my soon-to-be 13yo FTM nephew has been rushed to hospital following a suicide attempt - awaiting further updates from the care workers at his foster group home... For a bit of context we took him in initially back in January after running away from home but couldn't continue to care for him due to his behavioural and emotional needs, running away twice a week etc.
So yeah. My head is all over the place and really can't see me lasting the full shift, and my family kinda needs me right now
