divas, please help a fellow diva out🙏

hey y'all! i'm in serious need of some advice so pls come to my rescue!

so, there is this new guy at my job. on his first week we had 3 whole shifts together and then we would see each other occasionally when changing the shifts. however. it all started on his very first day when he was just being himself. so damn funny and charming. BUT i didn't dare think about him in any different way other than professional. on his second day, he was smiling at me, having eye contact with me non stop, teasing me, we were laughing together all the time and then when i was leaving he pulled me in for a hug. it was so unexpected like what? it was a side hug tho. so i didn't think much of it. next time we saw each other was for 5 minutes and he again cracked a joke, laughed and hugged me. on the third day, aka today, he was constantly touching me (not inappropriately don't worry), constantly looking at me, hugging me, laughing with me. and then...HE SAYS HE HAS A GIRLFRIEND. but he described it so weirdly like wtf. he literally said he is in a "secret" (whatever that means) 5 year relationship BUT he willingly added *i wonder why* that it is coming to an end. i would obviously not break girl code and i would not do anything unless i know he's single.

the thing is, how can he act like that when he has a girl? that's so disappointing. or maybe it's really coming to an end and he's bored? not that it excuses him. poor girl.

and he hugged me goodbye again. another side hug, but this one longer. i guess both of us didn't want to let go. this morning at the bus for work he sat next to me (it was a coincidence cuz it was one of the very few spaces left). at some point during our shift he mentioned that he didn't want me to leave (because my shift is shorter). he took my phone and took a pic of himself and then a pic of us.

like how can he be so funny, charming, a gentleman and at the same so disappointing. how come the first time a guy, A DECENT GUY I MIGHT ADD, is showing interest in me, it is someone already taken. it was literally him initiating all contact. all of it.

I don't want to be the other woman. and i definitely don't want to do that to his girl.

any thoughts on all this?

does him mentioning that the relationship is coming to an end mean something? the side hugs could be interpreted as friendly but then he never hugs the other colleagues???

wtf.
