Any good saltwater fishing spots in Florida?

So, I got into fishing like a couple months ago and have been to Dania Pier, Anne Kolb Nature Center’s fishing piers, Hawksbill Park, Sheridan Street Bridge, and West Lake Park. So far all I have caught are some checkered puffers and needle fish. Besides Dania Pier, everywhere I have been has been pretty dead. I am also not a fan of Dania Pier, because I, personally, like to be closer to the water. If anyone has any suggestions on places to fish that aren’t too far from the Pembroke Pines area, I would really appreciate it. I really want to catch a fish I can eat lol.
