I can’t believe I didn’t just check this whole time

Y’all I had an idiot sandwich moment today and I just want to share. For a couple of weeks now I’ve been feeling like my snack bag (the rucksack I have whenever I’m out with The Boy) has been feeling weirdly heavy. I did look in it a couple of times to see if maybe I forgot a water bottle or something in it but couldn’t see anything. So I didn’t question it further. Just thought “wow, why is this as heavy as it is? I only have some fruits, snack bags and my wallet in there. Oh well” and just left it.

So today I wanted to give the bag a proper clean before picking up our son and found it. A fucking 1 kg rock. Yes I weighed it. I had to. I feel so dumb 😅 about 3 weeks ago we were up in the mountains on a hike and our kid found this rock and decided he had to have it. So I put it in the bag and we all immediately forgot about it. I showed it to him and he didn’t even remember it anymore 🙃 I love parenthood though. Share some funny dumb moments with me.
