Worth getting back into?

I really havent kept up with SAO for a long time i stoped watching after the end of the 2nd season and the last game i played was Fatal Bullet. But ive seen theres been a few more games and the anime has kept going. The new echos of aincrad game came out i saw on my steam page. I have been looking for an SAO game that actually takes place in Aincrad/ made me feel like i was in the anime. Is getting back i to SAO worth it shpuld i check out the other games aswell? Are they all openworld? Sorry of this isnt worded great im terrible with wording stuff
