I took the test at 7am on 7/9/26 online. Easy process, but be sure to check in 30 minutes to fix whatever issues you have. There was a queue of 7 when I logged in so I started around 7:25am.

Course: AR Udemy in January and finished end of February.

I started studying on 7/3 in hopes to sit for the exam on 7/8. Went to pay on 7/4 and there was no availability for the old test, so I just scheduled for 7/9.

How I studied: like I said above, I started studying 7/3.

ChatGPT was my boot camp coach and it drilled me with processes and mindset! I uploaded the pmbok guides and Third 3 Rock study notes and told it to drill me on all the processes. It came up with schedule and I followed it. At the end of my study time, I asked for a brief summary of what was mastered and then started a new chat, copied and pasted the summary and kept it moving on to the next topic.

Study Hall was also a phenomenal resource. The problems I got wrong, I would screenshot and upload to chat and it would drill me and give me a rule book on how to approach using the PMI mindset.

7/5 I didn’t study at all felt defeated and unprepared for the new test.

7/6 and 7/7, is when I put in pmbok 8 into chat and the new study Third 3 Rock study notes. I also used the new Study Hall. Studied for about 8 hours each day.

7/8 I did a few mini exams and scored horribly!!! So I stopped studying bcos I was psyching myself out.

While drifting to sleep I watched a couple of David’s videos on fast tracking.

The actual test:
Case studies about 4 and relevant questions for each. Then a 10 minute break that I skipped.
What I didn’t like was that 80 or so questions later it asked me questions from the case study. I got atleast three of these later in the test. Luckily I did highlight key information which made it easy to revert back to.

There were quite a few graphs to interpret. I had atleast 10.

One drag and drop.

What helped me:(chat was good for drilling this)
1- Identifying agile or predictive
2- identify problem type (risk, stakeholder, etc)
3-identify if I need to assess or act
4- and then eliminate what doesn’t solve the problem and choose what does.

The test was a breeze as far as mentally. I wasn’t sure how I would do since I didn’t do any mock exams. I did finish with 30 minutes left. I did take the second 10 minute break.

Study with a plan. Come up with a strategy. And then do your best!

You got this!
