Late Eros discussion

Hi friends, I’m late to the party but I just listened to Eros. Oh my fucking god. I have so many thoughts, but to narrow it down I’ll say it could’ve been my favorite album of theirs if they finished it. It already seems so close to complete, I can’t believe they’ve been sitting on it for so long. Of course, there’s so much trauma associated with Eros and that complicates it for them. I guess I just thought that it was like so far away from being completed, based on what the band has said about it in the past, and to me this just needs better mixing, maybe some re-tracking here and there, some little tweaks, and it’s among the best work the band has. I’m honestly shocked. Overall so happy we got to hear it at all in any capacity. What do the rest of you think??
