Abscess

One of my piggies has a large abscess below her jaw. Shes not bothered by it at all, and it doesn’t bother her when I touch it.

The vet prescribed antibiotics on Wednesday to see if it reduced the size of it, otherwise we’ll be going for surgery. Does anyone know how quickly we should start seeing any shrinkage? I’m really hoping we don’t need the surgery.
