Mode button to wake up watch send me to other faces. Bug or feature?

So I’ve updated to the latest firmware and noticed that now when sometimes watch does not wake up and i try to wake them up with “mode” button as i used to, it wakes up but the first thing i see is the second watch face, not the time.

Is there a way to fix it via settings? Or is it a bug?
