ginny doesn’t owe max anything

the weird insistence that max “made” ginny is so nefarious. maybe you have to be a woc surrounded by mostly white people to understand, but max at the start of the show, while a better friend than abby and norah, is tokenizing ginny, touching her face, being personal to a level that ginny lets her get at because ginny desperately wants friends. it’s not a super sweet lovely friend taking the new girl under her wing. it’s ginny being uncomfortable but going along with it.

I don’t expect much from the misogynoir elite(tm) fandom but ginny doesn’t owe max jack and I kinda wish she was actually mean to max like people think she was instead of just indifferent.
