Question about chainsaw chain and cut dangers

Sometimes I am being dump and try to spin the chainsaw chain around with no gloves or tools and bare hands. It has slipped before and now I just use a screw driver shaft to spin the chainsaw chain around. Can one get cut pretty badly like stitches bad just from trying to rotate the chain with bare hands?
