I got my account back!

You’ve seen me everywhere at this point but I’d like to report back and inform others of what went down.
This past Tuesday 7/7 my account along with many others had been banned for violating ToS. After back and forth emailing with support I finally received confirmation that the reasoning was due to it being compromised. I verified my identity and ownership of my account so you have a chance too in the case you were also a victim of this.
Now, I have 2FA enabled but I have learned that the way AJ has 2FA set up is very vulnerable. Why, you may ask? Well, when someone is trying to hack into your account and they figure out the password and now only need to get thru 2FA, all they need is a computer to do a run through numbers until it finds the unique code we are emailed. And due to that code lasting 15 minutes, that gives them a lot of time. I suggest a strong password, disabling your account when not using, and when you receive a random code email take it as a precaution. Stay safe out there!
