Your opinions on couples going out to clubs or bars?

TLDR; I (F26) love to dance and go out dancing since I was in high school but my bf (M26) of 6 years refuses to go out with me because he thinks it's a weird thing to do. Do you guys think it's weird to go out as a couple? Or is it weird that he doesn't want to take me out?

My bf (M26) doesn't like taking me (F26) out to nightclubs. We go to bars but only when someone else invites us or it's either one of our birthdays. He never initiates for us to go out on a Friday or weekend night.

Then when somebody does invite us, he seems hesitant to even take me with him. I don't a bad drinking side where I get loud, emotional, or any of those.

At his job, he even told everyone he's single despite the fact that he has tagged pictures of us together on social media. Not sure if he just wants to look available or what, then proceeds to say "but we've been together 6 years." So what? He never talks about me to his coworkers (now so-called friends), only to his family. He never posted about me, but I have so many times. He never takes me out for a fun night, only on special occasions.

Anyway, I hope none of you experience this. If you do, I need your help ease my mind off this bs
