Extending Expected Delivery Date?

Does anyone know if I extend my processing time to 1 month (for example) but ship it out the first week, does the expected delivery date still stay 1 month away?

Local US mail carriers seem to take FOREVER to deliver my parcels (from the UK) so I want a way to push out the expected delivery date that gets displayed to the buyer.
