Eliot Huang Acting - What is he thinking?

I recently watched ABO Desire—my first BL series—and while the genre isn't usually my thing, Eliot Huang’s performance is completely distinct. There is something utterly mesmerizing about his eyes. When he engages with his co-star, you can feel a shift in his mindset that is hard to put into words. It feels entirely different from traditional acting.

On the surface, his aura is so elegant, gentle, and seemingly harmless that you would never guess he has a grand plan. Yet, there is a hidden spark in his gaze that I’ve never quite seen before—or at least don't recognize. You can see him thinking. I think I've seen those types of expressions before but it's rare or I just flat out over look it. What is it?
