Anyone here that had weightloss surgery?

All of the suggestions for post op diet are american foods which is okay but I really would like to eat childhood and family favorites. Will I ever be able to eat burek? And ofcourse we eat bread with everything so I cant imagine never having it again. Anyone that had the surgery that still enjoys our balkan food?
